You are currently reading: And The Google Wave Invite Goes Out To ….

Update : All invites sent. Hopefully you get it soon enough.

Yesterday I said I will be giving out eight Google Wave invites tonight. I asked readers to answer one simple question – how would you utilize Google Wave and well, they could also say how awesome I am and stuff. Come on now, it’s nice to hear good stuff about yourself. It makes you feel all warm and cuddly and…ok never mind, got carried away there. Anyways, here are 5 people who I have sent the invites to,

  1. David : Although he made me go into the admin section and find his email address, it seems like he will be using Wave for a good reason. Let me know how it works out for you David.
  2. Sue : She made me dig in for her email address as well. But, she says she is going to name her kids after me and Google and even erect a statue. You better Sue, you better.
  3. Vickie : She will be using it as a collaboration tool for her business so I had to send it out. Hey Vickie, I hope you meant the whole “handsome” thing.
  4. Justin : He runs two blogs and a web TV show, so I certainly think Wave is something he can get some use out of. There you go Justin, hope it helps.
  5. Jeff : He will be using Wave in the elearning field. Keep me updated on how it works out Jeff.

So I said I will be giving out 8 invites and I ended up giving only 5. Why? Cause although I want you to tell me how awesome I am, I would really like you to tell me how you would use Wave for your business or personal purpose based on what you have heard about it. Sue was an exception because she totally went above and beyond in making me feel all warm and cozy and I like it when people …… never mind ;-) .

I got 3 more invites. So if you want it, tell me how Google Wave will make your life easier.

And the ones I have sent an invite to, please give it a few days before it arrives in your mailbox. Although I have already sent the invites, it might take a few days to land on your end.

    Hey, Ritu!

I’m wondering if you still have some invites left. I’m really excited about Wave, it will be so convenient to organize trips and get-togethers using wave, after Wave gets enough popularity among me and my friends. But this may take a while, since Wave is still in preview.

Also I think the history thinggy is a good non-official way to keep tract of older versions of my meeting notes and papers.

Would love an invite, it would definitely help to be able to collaboratively work on something in real time. I’m in school, and to work with classmates like this would be infinitely helpful. I also just think that it would be a very good upgrade to IM.
