I like the new Facebook design. I use FB to stay in touch with my personal network and I use it as a marketing tool as well. I am sure many of you do. When you write a blog post and drop a link on your Facebook update, that’s exactly what you are doing – promoting your shit using this awesome platform. I do it all the time, for myself and for my clients. There is a reason it has over 300 million active members and with additions of Facebook pages businesses have reaped benefits all for free. Well, I guess being able to use one of the most popular platform on the web to stay in touch with whoever the heck we want isn’t enough, we are going to tell them how they should run their business (ohh wait, you didn’t realize Facebook is a business?!).
Anyways, the new Facebook design haters are strong and are an active bunch. As of this writing ranting the group has 759,000 plus members all against it. I for one love it and hopefully, hopefully Facebook won’t surrender itself to a whiny bunch who never seem to understand that ultimately a business has to do what it takes for it to become profitable. Hi, My name is Ritu. I am a member of SMA (Social Media Anonymous) ;-) & help bloggers and businesses utilize the social web. 
The only difference I really notice is the news feed on your home screen only shows certain people unless you click on the “view live feed” tab.
I admittedly am not happy with the new Facebook design, although lately I’ve gotten used to it and more or less tolerate it. I shuffle from looking at “live feed” and “status updates”. I just wish there was an option to remove live feed updates like who’s just friends with whom and stuff like that. If there is, I probably just haven’t seen it.
